Are you watching CBS’s New Show “Under The Dome”?

Have you been tuned into CBS’s new drama “Under The Dome”? The show which is based on author Stephen King’s book of the same title has ranked high in the ratings. The show began airing on the CBS network June 24, 2013 ranking in 13.53 million viewers.

Under the Dome tells the story of the residents of the small town of Chester’s Mill, who suddenly find themselves cut off from the rest of the world by a mysterious, impenetrable, invisible barrier that surrounds the town. As the town begins to tear itself apart through panic, a small group of people attempt to keep up peace and order while also trying to uncover the truth behind the barrier and how to escape from it.

This show reminds me a little of “The Walking Dead”, dealing with apocalyptic events as well has the human needs to survive. Everyone in the town being cut off from the rest of the world is certainly to cause some tension and survival enforcement.

During the show’s second episode the ratings dropped down to 11.81 million, dropping about 1.72 million viewers, and the views continued to drop by the third episode ranking in 10.71 million views. Our question now is, will the show’s views continue to drop or will they rise.

Adds +4.23 Million Viewers and +1.3 rating Points in Adults 18-49

The series première of UNDER THE DOME surged to 17.76 million viewers with 7-day DVR playback, according to Nielsen live plus 7-day ratings for Monday, June 24.

Live + 7-day DVR playback for the première of UNDER THE DOME added +4.23m viewers (17.76m from 13.53m), +1.6 rating points in adults 25-54 (6.1 from 4.5) and +1.3 rating points in adults 18-49 (4.6 from 3.3) from live plus same day.
